Following the release of a new film about an old man who ties party balloons to his house and goes off on an adventure, has prompted the question….How many would it take?
23.5 million party balloons would lift a 1800 sq ft house!!…………..according to one boffins estimate. This allows for the weight of the balloons and the string. I’d hate to be the one to fix up all those latex balloons using the old ways of hanging!!!…………but with my ‘Balloon Hangers’ the old man in this film would be on his way, before he even grew another wrinkle!
